REM

REM were great. Started off a bit slow, and the soundguy was not very good. It's not the worlds greatest concertarena, actually it's pretty bad... But still. He fiddled a bit too much. Stood right by the stage. (a bit to close to the speakers..) At one point Mike was standing 2m right infront of me:) Played quite a few songs that I haven't heard before (there's a lot of REM songs I don't know...) They were good, Michael is a brilliant preformer and they played plenty of 'hits'. So I left feeling satisfied, with a newfound respect for REM and a bit reduced hearing. Kept it going for about 2 hours. Think I'm going to go see them this summer again at the big outdoor arena. Although I can't really see alot of the songs they played will suit such a big place... But I might be wrong..
They played:
«Finest Worksong»
«Departure»
«So Fast So Numb»
«Boy In The Well»
«Animal»
«Outsiders»
«Everybody Hurts»
«Aftermath»
«Leaving New York»
«Seven Chinese Brothers»
«Hi-Speed Train»
«Imitation Of Life»
«Orange Crush»
«I Wanted To Be Wrong»
«Final Straw»
«Losing My Religion»
«Walk Unafraid»
«The One I Love»

Encore
«What's The Frequency Kenneth»
«Disturbance Of The Heron House»
«Drive»
«The Great Beyond»
«I'm Gonna DJ»
«Man On The Moon»

The Thrills
opened for them. Not to familiar with them. Only knew the songs I've heard on the radio, which of course the played. Whatever happened to Corey Haim, Big Sur, Santa Cruz. Played for about 40minutes.

Managed to sneak my camera in. I have finally bought a digital camera. But sadly I still suck as a photographer. Going to try and post the best one. If we'll ever get the internetconnection to work at our house...
