obviously
My little Spacey obsession hasn't ended just yet... I just listened to the directors commentary on The Life of David Gale. It was quite interesting, but my god how many times did Alan Parker say "Obvioulsy".. It was distracting. I found myself waiting for the next one instead of listening to what he actually was saying.. I don't think I've heard people use obviously as a 'filler' ( have no idea what you call these words... ) before. I have a friend who used to say "lissom" at least a few times in every sentence. It was quite annoying, so I commented on it. She had absolutely no idea that she was saying it that often. After I mentioned it, she started to be aware of it, which was kind of funny because every time she realised she'd said it - she would stop talking, let out a little laugh and then start again...She's stopped using it that much now. Didn't mean to embarass her, but it was distracting to listen to. I don't think I use words like that too often. If I do, or start doing it, I hope people will point it out to me.
Anyway, I quite like this movie. The performances were great, and it had some nice little twists that I didn't see coming. Also like song that is playing during the end credits. Sounds very Sopranos like. And it was funny to see Sookie from Gilmore girls as a goth girl.
