Finally saw Shrek 2 yesterday. I love Shrek. It's such silly fun. And being a total geek, I love trying to find all the references. But looking at a trivia page for the movie, I realise I've missed A LOT. Maybe I'll have to see it again. I do like the first one better though, but Puss in boots is my favourite character. "Pray for mercy from Puss... in boots."
Saw The Faboulous Baker Boys when I got home this night. Which by the way there was a reference to in Shrek2.. My god, that Jeff Bridges is a beautiful man. He and Michael Madsen could have played brothers in the late 80s, early 90s. They kind of looked a bit alike back then. Yes, that would have been nice..
Enough of that..
Just listened through the october trilogy of Thomas Dybdahl. I absolutely love his latest album, "One day you'll dance for me, New York City". Well I love all three of them. It was quite an ambitious project he started, but he pulled it of so wonderfully. Wonder what direction he's going to move in now that the trilogy is complete.. I hope he stays in the melancholy singer-songwriter corner. Although it would be fun to hear something completely new from him. Hate that I put off buying tickets to his concert, now of course it's sold out. Have to wait until december I guess. Well, maybe i can afford to go see The soundtrack of our lives play then:)
