Grease

Went and saw Grease the musical yesterday. It was a company from London who preformed. It was fun. But I could tell that I'm not used to go se shows like that. They had these giant tv-screens next to the stage - and quite often I found myself watching them instead of the stage. And we had really good seats too... Damn tv.. The show was in this pretty big indoor arena type thing. So the sound wasn't always the best. During the big song numbers it was ok, but the talking sounded a bit weird. I didn't much care for the girl who played Sandy either, well her voice I mean. It was really annoying, kind of like an adult who do childrens voices.. And that Vince Fontaine guy was annoying. But I guess he's supposed to be.. The Rizzo girl was very good. Well they all were. I do have a bit of problems with these kinds of big choreographed dance numbers. It looks really silly most of the time. Maybe I'm just jealous becaus I can't dance to save my life. Wow, doesn't sound like I enjoyed it at all - but I did. I mean it's Grease-I'm a girl.. I've seen the film dozens of times probably. I remember I wanted the video for my 10th birthday. But my parents couldn't find it, so the got me Saturday Night Fever instead. Who gives Saturday Night Fever, the uncut version, to a 10 year old?!? I guess they thought, John Travolta, dancing - it will do.. Can't stand dico music, so it wasn't a big hit..
Was supposed to go snowboarding today. But surprise surprise - I overslept. Well, the weather isn't the greatest, so it's fine. It looks as the snow isn't going away anytime soon.
