Suddenly my TV was willing to show my Region 1 DVDs and NTSC videos. All I did was turn on a knob. Now, why haven't I done that before? Finally I can watch my Say Anything DVD. I love Lloyd Dobler.
"I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that. "
I wonder who's going to win the election today (or tomorrow for me)? My money is on Kerry. I'm suprisingly anxious about it. Not that I normally wouldn't care. But I certainly care more about this one than I have any other non-norwegian elections. Maybe because of Bush's incompetence, but probably much because of all the media coverage it has gotten in the norwegian papers. Even the.. what's it called - primary elections.. I think.. Whatever it is, it's been a bit much.. I know it's important, but we should maybe worry more about our own election which is next year. Ready for a change here too. I wonder if it will be as crazy as the American one. Or it won't be. But you can clearly see there has been a big change in the debates and such in the last years. And now they're going to allow political commercials on tv. How annoying is that going to be.
