Thomas Dybdahl with friends, an acoustic concert.
It should have been a seated concert. The music it's much to cosy to be standing up. There should have been large squishy sofas and a fireplace.. well, at least some chairs.. I would have sat down, but I prefer to watch the artist and not peoples legs and asses. I love his voice, and the songs were beautiful with just a guitar or a piano. I don't think I've ever been to a concert where the audience has been this quiet. Where I was standing there was hardly a word spoken during the whole show, even when he was talking about the songs. Says quite a bit about his ability as a preformer.

His friends were Silje Salomonsen which sang and played harmonica on two songs, some guys from the National Bank; Nikolai Eilertsen, Morten Qvenild, Martin Horntveth and one other guy..
Played for almost an hour and a half, which was just enough I thougth. At least for this kind of concert. But again.. that might be just because I was tired. It was a beautiful and different concert, but I do prefer it when the band is with him..
My memory sucks, but here's some of the songs he played:
Cecilia
A lovestory
Henry
Stay home

Two new ones. One he played with the band - apparantly it was the first time they played it live.. can't remember what it was called, but it was good. The other one was just him - no instruments or nothing.. felt like a poetry reading.. it was more like Tom Waitsy singing..

Rain down on me - after it was loudly requested.. when he came back for his first encore he asked if there were any requests and one loud guy shouted 'rain down on me for fuck sake!..)

It's always been you
One other song called something Always
