There are now officially more people dead from the tsunami than there are people living in my home town. It's absolutly devestating. My heart goes out to everyone who has lost loved ones.

It's windy outside - almost fell over coming out of a store.. Finally done with my christmas shopping. Next year everyone is getting the same thing.. Oh no that's right.. Next christmas I'm fleeing the country. Have to put up the tree now.. Which idiot thought of that idea.
Can cross another Spacey movie of my not yet seen list. Fall from grace. Not a good movie. But it was kind of entertaining in a campy sort of way. Spacey looked like a chipmunk., but then again, so does Jim Bakker.. Also seen most of the Wiseguy episodes in the Mel Profitt arch. "Do you know what weird is Vinnie? This is weird. Those are weird. At the end of my foot. Ten of them. Like, like little animals. Sometimes I want to chop them off!" Fun stuff. Weird. Very 80s.. God, I used to love the A-Team when I was a kid. Saw an episode a little while ago. Where was my head. It's crap!
Merry christmas. Yo Ho Ho

I really don't like christmas anymore. So much stress. Way too many happy people, songs and jingles everywhere - makes your ears bleed, buyBuyBUY, people everywhere, santas, lights, cold, stuff, wrappingpaper, bows, CRAP.. And to top it off - I have to have my birthday in the middle of all of this.. I've been 25 for about one hour now. (well, don't know what time I was born, so maybe I'm still 24-or maybe they got my birthday wrong and I've been 25 for some days, or will still be 24 for a few days.. I don't know anything about my life from before I was 6months old..so who knows..)
But fuck, whatever age I am. Shouldn't you have some kind of idea what to do with your life when your 25?

Bright Eyes and Rilo Kiley are coming to town on february 27th:) Of course it would be better if Rilo Kiley wasn't just opening for Bright Eyes, but had their own show. But at least they are playing here. Going to be great.
Beyond the Sea isn't opening here until march 4th. It'll probably be out on DVD before that.. I hate when it takes that long.

Iris

Ugh.. Early mornings don't agree with me. Luckily this was my last 08.15 lecture this semester. Finally moved to our new apartment too. So now it takes much longer to get to school. But I'm happy with the place. All we need is some furniture. The livingroom is pretty big. And it seems gigantic now that all we have is one tiny, horrible couch and a bean bag chair..
Rented Iris yesterday. Finally got it from the library. It's so great that you also can rent movies and cds there too. Saw it this night. Maybe that's why I have trouble getting up in the morning - I stay up half the night watching movies... But what a wonderful, touching film. And how extremly well acted. I didn't know anything about Iris Murdoch before this movie, and I don't know much about her now. But I wasn't expecting to see a biography. I thought it was a movie about Alzheimers, which it was. But more it was a love story. A heart-breaking love story.
