Bowie

So they sent one hour of ”David Bowie, A Reality Tour 2003 Live from Dublin” on tv yesterday. Man he's great. Hope that he comes back here soon. Didn't really get to see much the last time.. Hmm. Still tickets available for REM on tuesday. Maybe I should go. A bit expensive. But hey, it's REM..

Finally got my head under water again! Ok, so it was just in a tiny pool, but still.. It was nice breathing into a regulator again.. I am a bit of a wuzz though, so I think I will wait a bit before I'll try diving in the sea.. Just a bit warmer maybe..
Bought one of the new Bright Eyes albums yesterday.I listened to both but decided on just buying I'm wide awake It's morning. Probably going to buy the other one too, but I have to wait a bit. Still need to eat.. and a table in the livingroom would be nice.. Man, I need a job - not enough hours or money in being a T.A. Found one I thought I'd apply for. But that too involves teaching.. Why must all things relevant to my education involve teaching? Well, I'll apply, see what happens. Time to go to class.

Back to school. Being back at the lab made me feel sick. I loathe that place.. I could just quit. But then I wouldn't have anything to complain about.. Signed up to be a.. what's it called... teachers aid?.. Did I learn nothing from teaching at the field course last summer? I suck as a teacher! Luckily it's only for a few weeks... Going home now to scream at my computer, for some reason I can't get my computer to connect to the ADSL. I want my internet!!

Garden State

Finally got to see Garden State yesterday. Who knew the guy from.. what's it called.... Scrubs.. could make something like that. Loved it. Not a very original plot, but there are so many great moments in it, and it feels so real and the acting is great. And of course, it's filled with fantastic music. The Shins, Nick Drake, Remy Zero, Zero 7 to name a few.
Well, off to buy the DVD.

Cameras - why must there be so many choices..

So I'm going to buy a digital camera. But it is so difficult to decide which one.. I'm going to get one that has an underwater housing. So I've landed on a Canon camera. Canon Powershot to be more precise.. I'm struggeling between the A85, S50 and S60. The A85 is of course the cheapest one. Quite a bit cheaper actually. The S50 I found on sale, but still a bit expensive.. And then the S60 - the most recomended, but of course the most expensive.. I don't know much about photography, so I think that I'm going to go for the cheapest one.. And then if I find out I'm loving it - I might upgrade... But then it would be cheaper to buy a better camera right away.. But then again, I might not use it that much.... Arrgh!!!
