U2

U2. OMG. It was absolutely fantastic! I'm still in a daze - and my ears are still ringing.
I take back almost everything I've ever complained about when I talk of big stadium concerts. Great sound, and when it got a bit darker - amazing light effects. Probably helped that we were standing pretty close to the stage. I've found that I seem to be enjoying the concert more if I am up close.. Now if only I were 15cm taller, it would have been the perfect concert. Never been a huge U2 fan - well, obviously I like them, otherwise I woudn't have payed that much to see them, but I only have two of their albums, and I haven't exactly played them to death yet.. so was a bit sceptical before this, but fuck a monkey that was good.

Why do the posts end up below the link and archive list?
Didn't do that before..

God, the internet connection at my parents house is so slow. I can go make myself something to eat before the page appears.. But just thought I had to say how very nice the Thomas Dybdahl concert, at the Quart festival, was. It was very nice. I think it helped that we stood pretty close to the stage. Nice warm evening, dark blue sky, flickering stars on the backdrop on the stage and long dreamy versions of his songs. Wonderful.
